Alrighty, so i just finished my rebuild last week, got everything together and the car was running great. But after about 30 miles the clutch started to slip... bad! I noticed also there was oil dripping off the oil pan by the bell housing, not at an alarming rate but needed to be addressed. So i figured my brand new clutch got oil soaked by the leak and it started to slip.

I pulled off my tranny last night, and sure enough, my flywheel, disc and PP were all soaked in oil, also the plate that sits behind the flywheel was soaked on both sides. I'm pretty sure the oil was comming from the oil galley plug that's right next to the rear main (the one with an allen head on it). Like a fool, i didnt put any RTV on it when i put it in, and just installed it dry. Does this sound like it could be the problem?? The rear main and oil pan look okay. I wiped them down and let them sit overnight, and today they were still dry. I'm really not sure what to look for. I feel like the oil pan and rear main wouldn't leak with cold oil and the car off. I cant run the car obviously without the starter on the car so i cant really verify that the rear main and oil pan aren't leaking. I just don't wanna have to pull my tranny again and i sure as hell don't want to ruin a second clutch, as i reordered one last night. Basically all im asking is, does that allen plug need to be RTV'ed like i thought?

It should have teflon tape perhaps but not rtv. I would remove the timing belt and run up the oil pump with a drill were I in your situation just to verify where your leak is coming from before re-installing everything.

Also im going to buy the rear main seal kit, its 24$ for the felpro kit at advanced so id rather just change it then take a chance, even though its brand new. When i did the rear main before, i used black silicone on it AND the gasket for the housing. Should i just use the gasket or use silicone again too? Aslo it comes with two gaskets??

Re-installed oil pan today with just straight Black RTV. Reinstalled the rear main with new gasket set and new seal, and put Teflon tape on the galley plug. Shouldnt have any more leaks! New clutch in the mail, and I'm gunna resurface the flywheel because the clutch slipped on it so much.

Why not just install the flywheel and start the motor? Just make a stupid little bracket for the starter outta some plate metal or square tubing or something from home depot.
