This plug was coming off due to the tab being broke that holds it on. It was causing my tach to wrap around past 9k rpm, cutting out, and not starting. I am not sure what this plug goes to, its a little module. It is right behind the fuel rail with a black and brown plug.

I can't remember for now but if I where you I would search for the thread on Tuners about the engine bay harness for the 2gen. It got all the connector and color and everything you need to know.

Isn't this connector for the ignitor ? Sure you'll have starting probleme with it disconnected if it is ...

Found it!

7. Ignition Power Transistor

Might need that haha...Any idea on where I could get a replacement plug? For the short term, I put some plastic epoxy where the tab would be. Can still be taken off with some force to pop the epoxy, but I would like to replace it.

Unfortunately finding these cars in the area that I live in at a junk yard is near impossible.

Red,

The way that this is, you can't put a zip tye on it to hold it down as there the module is on a plate and there isn't a way to get a zip tye around it...I don't think I have enough room to get a drill in there to drill a hole through the plate either.

Putting a ziptie between the plate and the module will mean the module underside isn't in direct contact with the plate anymore. The module should be contacting the plate directly for proper heat transfer out of the module.
