just wondering if anyone ran a header to a 3" exaust on their 2G turbo? ive heard that a header on a Forced Induction engine doesn't do much...comments?

but seriously, what kinda HP gains do you get from a turbo'd engine?

um..welp if your asking this..im guessing you're either 1.) a ricer who poses to have a gs-t, 2.) bought the gs-t with a blow turbo, or 3.) just online to give people like me headaches...damnit stoP!!

People run headers on turbo cars.

Mostly it's the t3/t4 guys who need something other than what Mitsu. factory supplied us with. For 99% of you guys out there, the regular exhaust manifold is all you would ever need.

Porting your exhaust manifold will work just as good as a header! And more than likely cost a lot less. I think Archer Racing use to, or still does, sell ss headers for turbo dsm's at around $500 to $600 bucks.

as far as i knew this is a forum where you CAN, yes just maybe learn something, thats why i posted...no 1) im not a ricer nor a poser, 2) i dont have a blown turbo, 3)yes i should have just posted this to piss you off

LOL oh turbo manifold. Yeah mostly T3/T4 guys since garret needs a different mani to have the turbo bolt on(excpetion: the new bolt on turbos). You may notice a couple of the "big dogs" have tubular mani which are all the same length. Very beutiful if you ask me. Prices vary see your online vendor. Enjoy!

Re: Header

I have a header from South Florida Performance. I plan on testing it in a couple of weeks at the track. I will let you know how much it helped. I also had it coated by HPC so I will let you know how it lasts.
