My signture has the list of mods on my car. I haven't rewire the fuel pump yet, and wanted to know if I will notice any gains. I am running about 15psi of boots.

No, You will not get more HP if you rewire your fuel pump. But you will get more HP if you rewire your fuel pump and turn up the boost. The only reason you would want to rewire your fuel pump is because you will hit fuel cut. You shouldn't hit fuel cut on a 2G because your turbo will not beable to out flow your fuel pump. Does that make sence? Unless you are hitting fuel cut. I really don't think so. If I were you I would wait till you get a new turbo before you rewire and upgrade your fuel pump. If you have any more questions let me know.

Rewirin the pump will NOT give you more HP, but it will allow your car to run with better potential. It will utilize the fuller capacity of your fuel pump. you are losing a few volts with the tiny stock wire going back to the pump. by losing volts, you are losing power. By upping the size of the wire, you can up the voltage a little, thus gaining some extra fuel flow. think of it as regaining some lost HP

liek AWDBOOST said, with more fuel, you can up the boost, etc. that is where you will see the HP #'s go up!!

i did the mod, it was easy. go for it! don't forget your 30amp fuse!

You know now that I think about it, I can't remember if I truly did find a record of the fuel pump being rewired. How can I check to see if it has been rewired or not. There was quite alot done to my car already when I picked it up over a year ago and the dump tube mod was already performed so I wouldnt be surprised if the fuel pump has been rewired. Let me know what you guys think on how to check to see if it has been.

It's easy, just look and see if you have around a 10 gauge wire coming off your battery to the back of your car. Take a look at the VFAQ to get a better understanding of it. With the 255 I don't your pump is rewired though, unless it was done before the 255 was installed.

That's what I was thinking. I doubt I'd even touch it if it wasnt rewired as the 255lph is too big anyway for my needs in terms of fuel pressure and since I don't have an FPR there would be absolutely no need for me to pump out any more fuel.
