Pretty crowded at the arcade the other day, so i decided to scare a few ppl with my bov. exiting the parking lot, i see a prelude tail gateing me on the way out, reving up his engine. i get excited and pull the next stop light, giving him room to pull next to me. I roll down my window and inquire ," nice car bro, whats under the hood?" He replies, " H22, headers, exhaust... ready to get smoked?" I give him a kind nod anyway, ignoring the comment and rev my car up to 2500k. Light turns green, i dont wanna peal 'em so he gets his nose in front of me. I hit 2nd, and i was so surprised that i passed and beat him by the end of my 2nd gear. By 3rd gear, i was a car length, and hit my hazards the end of 3rd, with a 2 car distance. I thought the H22 had a lot more potential than that. I mean, if they can kill my car in a hatch, then they should do fairly well in the car it was originaly in right? well, it was a fun race anyway and i wanted to give him the thumbs up, but he fliped a bitch as soon as he saw my hazards :-\

yah the prelude weights almost 1000lbs more than the civichatchback. there's a civic coupe here than has a H22 and he runs 14 flat but it also cost him $8000 for the swap. that;s a lot of money to be running 14s. imagine what our cars would run with 8g. but he does have a nice sleeper, the car looks entirely stock except for a catback. i want to race him after i get my boostcontroller.

nice kill

nice one man! i'm glad you won!

h22.. im not sure if im right about this but i think thats the v6 225 hp engine that goes in accords... 8 grand for a swap is alot... he could have had his og engine built up and turbo'd for that price and he would probably be doing better than that

remember that 8000Can so that's like 200US lol

The Honda 3.0 liter V6 is 200 horsepower (I wish it was 225, as I have the same engine in my wife's car - Acura CL)

The 3.2 liter engine in the newer TL's and CL's makes 225 horespower (and 260 for the Type S versions)

i think the jdm h22 is 225 hp... ill check and get back to you on that
ok... its the h22a that ive seen before and im not sure its the same as the h22 but the jdm motor makes 220hp
