I found a Onld Style Super AFC for sale, comes with everything I need and is pretty cheap. I Sthis thing worth getting? Does it display O2 voltage? Can I tune with this thing? ARe there people who are currently running this product that are happy/dissatisified?

Should I buy this thing or just pass it on buy?

The old SAFC is a great tunning tool. It may not have as much features as the current one, but it will get the job done too. It doesn't has a display and menus like the new one, it is a little box with some knobs for you to tune. If got the job done for many DSMers, like Al Blaha for example. If the price is right and you don't mind not having the fluorescent(sp??) display you might as go ahead and buy it.

Yeah I think I will, maytbe just to smothg out the performance of my 450's and just get nice injectors overthe summer. It is a REALLY good deal and I think it will be able to tune fine with it. Will I be able to make serius HP with this unit? Do you think it is enough to produce 360-400HP, my turbo is certainly capable and the injectors I am getting will too, But is the old style SAFC capable of tieing it al together and make a nice running car, that is SLIGHTLY rich and pulls nicely. I will be tuning Via, that, FPR, 600+ injectors, Boost, EGT, A/f gauge, will that be enough to tunr properly??

How much $ are you getting it for?

IT'S MINE, ALL MINE!!!

Seriously, can I get serious HP out of this unit? I plan On running 20+ Psi on the street after I get some injectors.

Does anybodu own or currently run one of these things.

Yes, you can get "serious HP" out of this thing. It is a good tuning tool. The HP numbers you would make wouldn't be much more serious with a newer one anyways. But, you just have to ask youself this; Is that cool blue display worth an extra $200?

Hey check out my AFC Type II thread!

AS stated above, I found a Type II SAFC for even cheaper, it is BRAND NEW and the guy just totaled his car, so he needs CSH FAST, pretty much how I got all my parts now:D .

Anyways if you know ANYTHING about the Type II SAFC as opposed to the type 1, or 1G (there are three as I know of in AFC devices, this one in my thread, a Type II that has only one knob???, And the new one on the market today)

Good stuf coming, keep it up guys.
