Well we went up to Ultimate Electronics today to look at some speakers for my new talon TSI and a freind of mine works up there so im talking about my brothers 300ZX and telling him he put down 330RWHP and 367Pounds or torq (was not tuned very well was running really really rich.. should be about 360rwhp when tuned) Anyway a guy that works there has a TransAm with cat back, intake and a 150shot. He was like lets take them out and race. My brother is like sure why not. The guy was cool we did a few runs with nos and a few without.
So first race was from like 35-40 mhp and the guy jumped and kept walking pretty bad really.. second brother went got about halfcar then nitrous kicked in and again right by us. Then stop light race.. really was not a race b/c my brother was not paying attition to the light and boged bad... So then a U-turn (best part) both sideways making the turn (i bet it looked bad ass) All these were WITH a 150shot.
Now without the 150Shot same a 40Mph roll brother takes him by a few cars.. now again from same MPH same thing but this time no traffic and well brother was pulling pretty bad at abuot 110MPh then he hit the 150shot and started to gain but never got infrot this race went till yes 160MPH the transAM toped his car out.
Then hard on the brakes to slow for the stoplight to turn back into the store... my brothers brakes you could smell and well SEE there were smoking and could see coming up past the window. His brakes were doing the same just not as bad. All and all NOS wins and N/A losses. Now to tune my brothers car better so those dyno numbers go from 330 too 360 or more.
It was fun and scary doing 160 racing and my friend in his car started to feal the car shaking going that fast (this was inthe TransAM) and my brothers car well still felt like we were doing 60 but, then you saw the spedometer.
FUN NIGHT... cant wait till i get my talon this friday night or staturday morning!!!
