I have searched the archives to no avail, my 90 Laser 2.0T won't start. This is something that happened overnight. The car ran fine on the way home the day before and then after installing a cat. con. test tube the car wouldn't start. Coincidence I'm sure. Symptoms, Fuel there, air there, spark missing! Coil checks good, power transistor checks good, wires and plugs good, voltage going to coil. Car cranks and cranks, etc. .but no spark. Help, I miss my DSM Turbo. Thanx, FM Indy

With a little time you can rip apart your interior enough to find your ECU (Engine Control Unit), which contains capacitors that are prone to leakage. It is a "black box" type unit (really goldish/copperish metallic) located behind your stereo). If you know how to get out your stereo - (should be pretty straight forward) you'll be able to have a quick view of the ECU. Usually Cap leakage is marked by smell of fish / popping noises at certain RPM's / throttle positions from the ECU area.
