OK, I redid my headliner with headliner material, and it's thicker than stock stuff. I have a dual A-pillar gauge cluster and am having MAJOR issues keeping BOTH driver and passenger side ones ON the car. They keep falling down, hitting me in the head. I'm getting a LITTLE IRRITATED with this issue. I've tried a host of solutions, including, but not limited to, cutting all the headliner material POSSIBLE from behind the trim to avoid too much material behind them, hot glue, different (longer) clips, big huge industrial velcrow strips, etc. . Pretty much anything short of SHEETROCK SCREWS. That's my last straw solution. Is this a problem out there for you 1G Guys? It's driving me crazy. Also, the three little velcrow strips from the factory have lost their sticky stuff on the pillar side. In other words, they are still stuck to the car, not the trim.
I'm having bad luck with this. Anyone? Thanks guys.

Industrial velcro

I had the same problem on my passenger side. I took some of that industrial strength Velcro, attached it to the flat parts on the A-Pillar where the trim attaches, then stuck the trim to it. Hasn't fallen off since in a few months.
The key is the right Velcro.... get the stuff that's like pastic hooks, not the stuff that has one side that's fuzzy.

I guess I should try that.. I tried some velcro, but it kept pulling itself off the plastic, no matter what I did! I guess I'll try that. I'm at a loss here, guys. :( Thanks for the tip!

my triple gauge pod kept falling down at first...most of the clips were broken off and the velcro tape had lost its stickyness...i just drilled a screw right into the metal in between the first and second gauge..and it holds tight everywhere...all the way back to the seatbelt..that one screw is the only thing holding it in. it works great.

CRAZY GLUE IS THE KEY!! Aaaah HA! Ok. I will try BOTH of these ideas. I'm sick of getting whacked in the head with the trim piece! :) Thanks guys!
