Ok, I raced a 6 cylinder camaro, with straights....he wanted to, i knew id get him, just not how bad....it wasn't even a race, i stepped on it, he was gone....but when i pulled over there was oil on everything, i think it sprayed out of the dipstick tube,,,,what would cause this and what can i do to fix it??

should be in help tech

If you are sure it was from the dipstick tube, then you need to go and buy a new dipstick, because the rubber teeth that hold it in place are shot

If you're a cheapass, bend a small strip of metal to clip onto the dipstick, and secure it with a hose clamp around the dipstick tube. You just pry it back to check the oil, then push it back in place.

Of course, a new dipstick is only about $10.
