Last night my friend and I finished up putting the car back together with the new ACT 2100 clutch but I have a few concerns:
1. The clutch engages when the clutch pedal is released about 1/2" from the floor. There is no play at all in the clutch pedal. Is this too close to the floor?
2. How do I adjust the clutch pedal. I looked under the pedal and saw a post that goes through the firewall and the other side of this post is threaded into a bracket connected to the clutch pedal. It is held in place on the bracket with a nut. Is this where the clutch pedal is adjusted?
I will be trying to troubleshoot this problem a little later on today so any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
