Should I install the S-AFC blue wire? Does the S-AFC read the O2 voltage acurately? I read on another post that it doesn't, is this true? Should I trust the S-AFC or will I have to get a Datalogger? I have a Greddy EGT and a Autometer A/F gauge. Is this enough to tune my car some what properly? Please let me know, thanks.

Dude it's fine to do. I would do it because it help you get a better smoother flow of power. I tune with it and a EGT and look at the times I have pull out of the S-AFC. My point prove.

I tested the blue wire mod awhile back and found that it did cause problems

To make a long story short, the blue wire mod caused me to tune too lean, and I lost power. With the blue wire connected, I saw .92v but it was actually .88v on the logger. Guess it has to do with the resistence issue brought up earlier. I would avoid doing it.

What the hell?!? Dont do the blue wire mod? ive never heard that. So i should unhook that wire and tape it back up? I also connected the wire for my A/F gauge to the 02 sensor wire going into the ECU. should i disconnect that too?

I'm not sure if it matters for 1g's or not, since you are not obd-2. If you have a logger, you can check by comparing your A/F gauge and the logger to see if they match or not. If they are off, leave the AF wire connected then recheck with the blue wire disabled.

You can keep the blue wire mod on.. it wont hurt anything. Just dont rely on it it for wot tuning. It is useful for setting up your lo throttle settings though.

Go to this website here they explain it thouroughly

Go to initial afc tuning(low) . Instead of buying a a/f meter(waste of money) use the one the s-afc has. You have to jump between the screens while tuning but you get the hang of it after a bit.

Yes but the question is "BLue Wire Yes or No?" I think there are other factors to consider before doing it, not just because of the benifit it has for a 1 time adjustment on Lo-Settings. Those can easily be done other ways. This is just my opinion of course.

Cazzo I sent you a PM, just letting ya know

Yes if you want to use it
No if you are not going to use it
