Would they fit on my car?I am new to this list, but thought I'd share my experiences. I used to work at Discount Tire & got a great deal on a set of 17x8 Eagle 077s ($80 for all 4) that the owner had one his mustang. I put some 245 40 17 Mich MXXX3s (free... 3/4 tread left). This was on my old 90 GSX w/ stock suspension. They fit great... they stuck out even w/ the wheel well. I had no rubbing problems or anything. I believe they were 36mm offset. & MXX3s are by far the best tire I have ever drove on, but they wear really fast (even w/ AWD). I got maybe 4 months out of the used ones. I used to love the fact that M3s came w/ them stock ( I got all the ones that came off).

they will fit
i got 17 by 8s and they fit fine just make sure the offset is right other wise they might not fit, but anwhere form 35 to 45 shoudl fit no problems

225-45-17s I'm guessing won't offset the speedo will they?
