Alright, if nobody else will get off their lazy arses and organize some kind of DSM club for the Houston area I will!! Whoever is interested just post some kind of reply. I live in the Humble area, every Saturday night there is a fairly lame car show at the Jame's Coney Island about a mile from my house. Maybe some Saturday night we could all meet up at my house and head over there for a while, look at some cars, then maybe head out to Rankin or something. I dunno. Or maybe just head back to my house and put a few down or something. Or maybe nothing at all if nobody is interested. as long as it works and you can promise that it is not absolutely broken then you have a deal. i can use a spare tranny just in case the dsm bug hits me. thanks.

My car runs but the up and go is kinda slow. I think the a/t clutch is worn, but yeah the tranny works. If you happen to go toward Galveston, hit me up. . I'm parting out my car and possibly going for the look of the 2g or something more spacious.. I'm also selling my smic. Later

Bov's and EVIL brakes
well all of this talk of bov's Greddy type s this... turbo xs that. all i know is that i have my 1g stock bov and it works great for me i am pushing 13 psi and it works and sounds great. and you can find them allover the place. hell you could even find them in junkyards for really cheap.
i still hate brakes:realmad:
i just keep looking at them and going... what the fuk is that. and why did it do taht.... so annoying. my car is STILL up on jackstands in the parking lot. and i have been trying to figure it out.
well the piston thing that pushes the brake pads against the callipers has been pushed out really far and is almost poping out of the litle rubber holder with the brake fluid in it. and im not sure what to do. some people say that i need to take off the brake lines and then turn the piston thing with a 'special' tool. i just keep on getting fustrated. all of my other brakes went fine. they all look great. the guy that i bought the car from had just changed the brake pads... and all of the other ones were verry new. they still had the litle typed nubmers and paint or whatever on them.
but the right rear brake pad (one on the outside of the rotor was completly worn down. the one on the inside was not worn at all... something i think that might have to do with ballance... or mabey when i got new tires... about 600 miles ago they put that wheel with only 3 lug nuts (out of four) so that might be why... im not sure... so
if anyone can tell me if they have had this before or has any advice on what might be the problem help is always welcome...
still pissed at my brakes... still working on them... not driving...
well its july 4th... so im gonna go and blow some stuff up tonight.. see you guys this weekend mabey... or next wendsday.

i've decided (with jon's help) that i'm gonna go with a 1G until i get my standalone. So.....

regarding your recent posts on MAS Hacking, Karman counts & IAT. I was wanting to know if i should get the 2g and hack it, stick with my 1g and hack it and use a resistor. then again, i can always go with the dejon 3 -2.5" intake with the breather tube.
what is your opinion. remeber jw, i plan on sucking in a lot of air with my gt30 so a stock like sub 2000hz karman is unnaceptable.

andy, i think every bov leaks. if you like the turbo type H look on ebay, thats where i got mines at. bov + adaptor + all hardware + shipping = $220. cant beat that w/ a bat.
last night when i was sleeping ( zzzz ), i had a dream (and it was almost wet!) that i was in texas rebuild buying a 20 G ohhhhhh man was i disapointed when i woke up oh well, maybe some day!

Anyone have a boost gauge lying around that I can hook up to my car to see what I'm boosting? I think that might be the problem why the car is running so shitty up top.
Once I get this car running right I'm going to hit the track too. Hoping for high 12's once I get the launch and shift points figured out. Is anyone going to race in the event this month in Baytown? It's supposed to be a night race event.
If I could only get the bugs worked out and install this 2600 ACT clutch I have sitting right next me, I think I might do decent at the track. Anyone with me?
