Big28

I have a few Questions about that turbo. There is another thread on it in parts review but it doenst give me the info i want./
I want to know what it spools at. How reliable it is. And how much PSI can it push compared to a 16G. And what supporting mods do i need or should have along with it.?

FP28 seems like it flows somewhere in between the big and small 16G.

Is the Garrett a higher quality turbo than the Mitsubishi's? Or is this just a convenient option for 2G guys who dont wanna convert to a TD05/06 housing?

Has anyone ever converted a 1G to run a FPBig28? I think the Garretts sound neat when they spool.

i am no genius but i read an article in SPORTCOMPACTCAR a few months back that said to beware of such things.
$0.02
Yep, and SCC should really be trusted for DSM turbo decisions--they're really smart about that stuff!

For the price and performance, a Big28 is easily a good option in lieu of the standard 16G.

Note track times in sig.

Ok, in that case, what do you need to know that you couldn't find by searching?

edit - BTW, I also deleted all references to your "28G" typo so that the thread makes sense.

In my opinion, the appeal of the FPBig28 is that it is a direct bolt-on for a 2G, with quicker spool and equal power to a 16G.
