Hey guys check out this bumper I made (in photoshop). I took the front end off a ferrari 360 (I always thought that was the best part of the car) and adjusted it slightly.

What do you think (it's my first time doing anything like this in PS)? Well I liked I liked it so much I'm begging to wonder how much it would cost. My dad is an engineer and he could design the plans and dimensions and other technical aspects. Then I would just need to take it to some kind of shop and have it made (I'm sure buying a used ferrari part and having it custom fitted would cost a lot more). But then again I have absolutly no idea how much this would cost. So if anyone has any feedback let me know.

not too bad, i think i like it.

Cute in concept, but what about the radiator?
perhaps a hole in the middle of the headlights like this.

Blue97GST: I have a 95 talon, I agree I like the 97+ front ends.

As far as the radiator I thought of that to, I drew a middle vent, I will work on adding that to the photoshop pic soon. By the way does anyone have any ideas what kinda place would make something like this and for how much?

still dont work, try tripod or something

peace

as far as the radiator goes if the vents that are on the ouside had pieces of fiberglass or something behind them to deflect the air at the radiator instead of it going straight back i think that it would suply enough flow to compensate for the lack of a center vent, and those vents would rock for side mount IC's. i do like the way the bumper looks and i wonder how it would look on a 1g...i dont have ps on my comp, anyone wanna take a stab and host somehwere other than geocities? good job tho man, and good idea.

Ok, I uploaded the image to dsmtuners so here it is with a center vent. although I think I liked it beter without. I also PS a 1 gen (although the bumper is a little off center cause the car and the bumper where shot at different angles, you'll get the idea). BTW I use RiceGSgirL's sig pic so thanks for the pic :D

one i ssue i thought of last night was that it'd be impossible to run a fmic on this setup.

I'll give you the creative B+

Try submitting it to erebuni, wings west, Aero gear, Razzi, Bomex, Xenon, all the kit companies...
But make sure its clean, find a car that isnt someone elses so as not to get in trouble.... like a stock looking car. It will show the difference more. At the very worst they will be like um, sure we can make that... for $2K. At best they could buy your idea.
You wont know until you try.

You might want to try doing it from the front and atleast one side as well... like a profile shot.

That should keep you busy!

i believe that a fmic would be useless on this situation, better to go with an upgraded sidemount. and i believe a small cutout in the bumper would allow plenty of air to the radiator. sorta like this, only not so shitty :)

Would if be possible to put say 2 supra side mount intercoolers on each end of the front bumper where the cut outs are? If they could work together somehow(I don't know shit about intercoolers, or much at all) then it should do the job.

yes that would be possible, but you need a setup like dejontool offers.
