Boost Crazy

I am giving up on stopping the boost creep problem, should I just build my car to handle the 22 psi. Or will a ProfecB stop my problem. Cuz I have a Victory 02 dumped. And it still isn't helping, thinking bout upgrading to 20g with external WG. please help???

Dude, something is not right and you should figure it out before attempting to up the hp. Your just asking for more trouble if you don't.

So you have a 16G...

Port the wastegate hole and get the 34mm flapper door in there.

I believe I already told him to do that in the other thread he had running. Why he doesn't?? :dunno: I think that would solve the problem.

how and where?

How do I do that and where do I get the part is there a site that shows how to do it. I'm just sick of controlling the boost with my gas pedal.

Jeeez why are you people screwing around with this Porting and crap for these integral wategates.....just install an External wastegate with your better turbo..saves the headache for all the b.s.

Because it works and externals are illegal for street use, not that I care about that but some people do. Why spend money when I can do something myself that works just fine :dunno:

or like said before do it yourself,what the above sites dont tell ya the carbide bit is about 40.00 more or less depends on the store,tool truck etc,the high speed die grinder is roughly in the 45.00 to 90.00 range... then ya can start porting everything you might get in the future..

Industrial carbide bit from Harborfrieght for $12.99, Mini die grinder of the Campbell Haufsted name about $25

Of course you need a compressor which is the biggest expense unless you have a buddy with one.

I bought a ported o2 housing with external dump, a ported 7cm turbine housing with the 29mm wastegate hole & the 34mm flapper mod from ffwd connection. The parts work perfectly & i never got any boost creep.

On the other hand, i have to live with the noise & scaring the living crap out of people that get to hear my wastegate open when i throttle it hard! hehe! Sounds like i'm running an open header.
