Who's using this, and what's your take on it? If not, what did you replace yours with (pipe between MAS and Turbo intake).

Thanks,

I bought mine with the air bypass tube but I need to install bigger injectors before I use it. So far I really like the pipe and it looks good and matches my upper IC pipe from DSS. My karman readings jumped from 2100hz to 2300hz with the pipe installed. Yeah it cost a bit over $100 but it looks and functions great.

I have the "stock" size one that fits onto the T-25-- looks good (matches my UICP), easy install. But I don't have any tuning tools, so I don't know if it affected performance or not. I can't tell anything with my butt dyno, but that's not saying much.

So you are saying that basically the addition of the intake pipe netted you a 200 Hz gain? What are your other mods?

I love mine deffinatley felt a gain as well, and when you compare it to that stock rubber pos you'll be amazed.

I don't know how my readings went up,maybe with the bigger turbo? I did go from a 16g to an 18g but my MAF already had the lower honeycomb removed. But I did see a consistent gain of 150hz and as high as 230hz.

I made my own and saved some cash ;)
me too. After seeing some local guys with various dejon intakes i knew I could do better for less cash. Take a look for youselves. If you like them, I've got several other local guys who use my intake and I've got a couple more laying around.

here's my intake webpage

Whoa..that looks like the attachment on my Vaccum cleaner ;)

Thanks for the feedback, looks like I'm getting the DejonTools..

yeah, the bov dump tube does resemble the vacuum cleaner stuff but it stays remarkably clean looking over time and is very flexible. It took me a while to find materials that would hold up to abuse and look nice, but to each his own.

thanks magapaka. I've got a 2g mas on my car right now. The coupling stretches right over the mas on a 2g though it is a tight fit and on a 1g it just slides right in. I now that it would seem that a round pipe wouldn't work for a rectangular maf but the coupling makes the transition extremely well. The injen pipe is overly complicated, probably contributing to it being over priced. :)

I'm going to be adding pictures to my intake webpage that show this installed in a 2g, 1g, and my 1g with a 2g mas. I'll post on this thread when the changes are made so you'll know when to check it out.
