I searched for some info on karmen HZ, but I would appreciate someone letting me know if I have it right or not.

The HZ count on an AFC/ECU shows the volume of air entering the engine, not the mass? The HZ count is just one part of the density equation (also BAR and Intake temp?) and the actual amount of air entering the engine is Airflow (not shown on an AFC).

So, Assuming same temp, altitude, and boost-- HZ will give a good idea of the precision of the power output? On a warm day, the HZ count will have to be higher to make the same amount of power as on a cold day?

Last, if I am running a 2G MAS on my 1G, the HZ count shown on the AFC should be increased 20% to compare HZ counts based on the original 1g MAS? Also, I have read that the 2G MAS will read up to 2700 HZ from one source and 2200 HZ from another. Which is correct?

Thanks,
Chris
