bad launching? i brake torque till around 3500 where i start to really move and then top end just goes down the toilet for some reason? is this normal... cause im pretty much stock.... for now....

How long do you brake torque for to get to 3,500 rpm's? You should not brake torque for more than 5 seconds. Do you have an upgraded torque convertor?

??? nah i dont man
i got my car stock from a dealer w/ 50k miles... i highly doubt that they upped the TC...
but it goes fine i mash brakes and gas for about 3 seconds and then its at ~8-9 psi around 3000-3500 rpms...
is this that strange for a stock car?

When I had the stock tranny, and basic mods, I stalled out to around 3300 and 15psi at the line. And I don't think the stall speed is different from AWD to FWD, since it's the same TC. But I could be wrong.

When my car was stock I could get 3000rpm while powerbraking. After modding I got the stock TC up to 4000rpm. I don't think It liked it too much since the tranny pump died. Now with my Dunrite TC It can still go to 4000rpm but my best launches are at 3700rpm or so. There's no difference in the 2g FWD or AWD TC.

IF you car is stock it'll feel slugish off the line. Get a UIC w/ 1gBOV and a MBC set at 15psi. It'll help lots.

Your proably power breaking for to long, when my car was stock I could stall to 3000 rpms if it was cold out(20-30 degrees), and I held it for ever(liek 10 seconds) but it will kill your timing if you do that, and kill your top end. Try couting to 5, then launching even if you rpms are still low, so you don't kill your timing. This is a good reason for you to buy a pocketlogger, so you can see if your timing is being pulled. The other problem could be that a/t's just don't have a very good top end(awd and a/t is a bad combo for freeway racing:( )
