any word yet,, i REALLY need one of these things.

I'm about ready to give up on this...anyone hear if there are any more of the WeaponR(?) FPR's available yet?

They SHOULD be done the FMIC group buy this week. That has been taking up most of there time for the last three months :( .
I would think they will divert all efforts on the AFPR..

so is it for sale yet?

There's also these kits from ProPlusFX. I've never heard of these guys, but the DSM fuel stuff looks pretty good. Anybody have any of their stuff? They look like mostly a 3000GT/Stealth shop.
It's just an S/X (not DSM bolt-on). The DSM clip just bolts it to the inner fender well. The nice thing is that it includes the needed AN fittings when you buy the regulator.

I ordered one yesterday for a 2g, From Charged Air.. I was in the FMIC group buy, He gave us a discount for the excessive long wait.
Where can I order it from? I went to charged airs website but do not see any 2G AFPR.

I finally got the 2g reg and I must say it looks good but the only thing that doesn't make sense to me is why there is no fitting for the return line? I went to 4 hardware stores and 3 auto places to try to find this fitting. What a pain in the ass. Why would you not just include it in the package. They include to plug to the gauge but no fitting for the return line. I end up using a 90 degree fitting which is restrictive and did alow me to turn down the fuel pressure enough. So I'm going to order some stuff from summit racing later to fix it.

The stupid thing I did was I ran my fuel pump with my dsmlink and engine off. Then think that my engine was flooded with gas I try to start my car to find it made a bad pop noise when it was first started. So I did a compression test and end up with 180 across the board.. So I'm happy about that.

The thing that sucks the most is I can not use my front strut bar because of the regulator. Damm that sucks.

Maybe they forgot to include the fitting for you? What is it? Just a 1/8" NPT barbed fitting?

Also I don't think your engine will flood with the DSMLINK pump function.. the injectors are not firing or anything. It's not a carbuerated car.

Can you take a picture? What kind of strut bar do you have?

Ya maybe, but the thing that suck is that in need to be 90 degree fitting on a 1/8 npt. and if the 90 degree fitting that i have is too restrictive. It's the elbo you get in the B&N gauge that I have.

I learn that the injector don't pulse. So I am fine. I just freak my self out because it my car and I didn't want to mess it up.

I will try, but not having a digital camera it might be hard. I'm going to just cut out the spot it interfear with. And try to send pic out.

Try to get the reg from them when you can't stop in a see him is hard. I live like 45 min from the place, so I just stop in to see Tony which for some reason cares them and is never there because he working on other projects too. Very nice guys. We decide to meet at a spot then we cancelled two time untill final we met up. Very cool guy. Try calling the shop and see if they will pick up. Mike from spoolup.com won't be back untill the 15th. But he has some regs. I got mine from charged air thou.

The only complain I have is I don't have the proper fitting and it runs into my front strut bar. But that can all be corrected. :D

to the public on the 15th, or to the guys on the list? and whats that about a missing fitting? just a fluke i hope. also, we've heard a lot of dates in the past, i wouldnt take it as gospel that they'll be ready the 15th. mikes a good guy and all, seems like hes too busy to keep in touch with us personally i guess cuz i emailed him almost a month ago and he hasnt gotten back to me. not upset really, i understand its hectic.

also, whats the concensus on charged air? i know they combined but has the situation changed for the better or worse as far as any of u r concerned?

Thanks.

No fluke. I just did get a fitting for it. All I know is what I told you also Mike from spool up is going to start to work for tony on the 15th. That all I know.
