I heard the spoolinup FPR for 2G is supposed to be available near the end of this year.. well it's almost time, and I am not sure how much longer can I wait for it.
Does anyone now?
Does anyone now?
It's just an S/X (not DSM bolt-on). The DSM clip just bolts it to the inner fender well. The nice thing is that it includes the needed AN fittings when you buy the regulator.doug said:There's also these kits from ProPlusFX. I've never heard of these guys, but the DSM fuel stuff looks pretty good. Anybody have any of their stuff? They look like mostly a 3000GT/Stealth shop.
Where can I order it from? I went to charged airs website but do not see any 2G AFPR.95GSX said:I ordered one yesterday for a 2g, From Charged Air.. I was in the FMIC group buy, He gave us a discount for the excessive long wait.
Maybe they forgot to include the fitting for you? What is it? Just a 1/8" NPT barbed fitting?awdboost said:I finally got the 2g reg and I must say it looks good but the only thing that doesn't make sense to me is why there is no fitting for the return line? I went to 4 hardware stores and 3 auto places to try to find this fitting. What a pain in the ass. Why would you not just include it in the package. They include to plug to the gauge but no fitting for the return line. I end up using a 90 degree fitting which is restrictive and did alow me to turn down the fuel pressure enough. So I'm going to order some stuff from summit racing later to fix it.
The stupid thing I did was I ran my fuel pump with my dsmlink and engine off. Then think that my engine was flooded with gas I try to start my car to find it made a bad pop noise when it was first started. So I did a compression test and end up with 180 across the board.. So I'm happy about that.
The thing that sucks the most is I can not use my front strut bar because of the regulator. Damm that sucks.
You are waiting for a 2g reg...PJay said:Does anyone know about the 1G regulators? When I emailed Mike at spoolinup he said he would email me when they were ready. I told him that I had a 1G, I hope I'm not waiting for a 2G regulator.

Ya maybe, but the thing that suck is that in need to be 90 degree fitting on a 1/8 npt. and if the 90 degree fitting that i have is too restrictive. It's the elbo you get in the B&N gauge that I have.95GST said:

Also I don't think your engine will flood with the DSMLINK pump function.. the injectors are not firing or anything. It's not a carbuerated car.
Can you take a picture? What kind of strut bar do you have?
WTF?!?! speechless.....awdboost said:
