I am getting some front end work done on my Eclipse, and one of the headlights need to be replaced. I decided that I want to pay the extra cost and get the Silvia S15 Angel Eyes conversion done.

Does anyone have any idea on where to get a set of these headlights and how much work is involved?

Damn - 2K huh? I assume you are including parts in this right? I'm going to check out a shop tommorow and see what they quote me. They have already done around 30 conversions like this.

The bodyshop that I called said that they could get the headlights direct from Nissian Japan for about $700ish. I'm going to keep looking. I will prob go with the stock front since I am aiming for the sleeper look still.

its a nice idea.
It's actually the only conversion I like since the headlamps are so similar but the S15's give it a nice, sharp edge.
However the amount of money it takes just to get a set of headlamps is ridiculous.
Sorry but for 700-900 just for the headlamps alone, thats a month of all my expenses down the drain.

Tonight I am going to call up Nissan Japan and talk to them. I can't see stock headlights costing $450/each if you really live in Japan and drive a Silvia. Looks like this might take some work.

One body shop I went to today estimated the labor at $500-$1500. Damn guy couldnt give me a more closer estimate?!

Keep in mind, eclipse headlights are $300+ each from the dealer and silvia headlights have projectors also.

As far as headlight prices. There was a site I found about a year ago that sold parts off of wrecked cars in Japan. I don't remember the name of the site but you may want to check into that. I'm sure the Nippon has it's fair share of wrecked Sylvias

IronPalm; ... FTO headlights? Hmmm.... makes me want to photoshop it in!

Here are my results. I used a fellow DSMers beautiful car to be my dummy.
