I heard the spoolinup FPR for 2G is supposed to be available near the end of this year.. well it's almost time, and I am not sure how much longer can I wait for it.
Does anyone now?
Does anyone now?
Because the 2G one is out and you do not need to go this route anymore. I have one in my hand. Just no return line fitting so I cannot install itstanfosd said:to anyone that is wanting the afpr, why dont you just get a 1G fuel rail and replace your 2G fuel rail with it? That will allow you to run the 1G afpr on your 2G.
Could you expand on this a bit? Which "it" are you talking about-- the AFPR with the 2G rail or the 1G rail?95GST said:Also, it seems to not completely clear the strut bar without some mods
I can't turn down the pressure down past 43 the base. But to have it work right I need to turn the base up to 50 so when I hook up the vacume line it will go to 43. But if you set the base to 43 when you plug in the vacume line it will not drop and sit there untill you reach 1 psi and then it start to raise. But before this, my psi was set at around 60 plus. The one thing I have see that is a problem is the return line on a 2G is 1/4 and 5/16 on a 1G. Charged air did account for the size so the reg will not work to bump it down more. Unless you don't have a 255HP walbro. Rewired.GST-Eclipse said:awdboost, what was your pressure at before you turned it down to 43 psi?
well, its friday night and haven't seen any fpr. i swear CAS has the worst customer service. how they manage to stay in business, i'll never know. i'm calling my credit card co. on monday to dispute the charge. i vow never to purchase from CAS/ spoolinup ever again. they can take their afpr and sick it up their asses.moneypit said:ok. here's the latest. i checked w/ my credit card co. and got charged by charged air for a fpr last week. yet still, no tracking #,
no return phone calls, no e-mails. WTF. i'm giving it another week.
if no fpr then, i'll have my credit card co. dispute the charge. just off the phone w/ charged air (actually spoke w/ a human). they told me it was shipped last thurs. and will be at my door step tomorrow. i'll let you know if i recieve it or not.
I might have missed something, but why are you trying to get the base pressure lower than stock?awdboost said:Second of all, I put the straight fitting on it and it knock it down to 40 psi is now the lowest it goes.
