Well after letting a women drive my car and hit a deer I guess I did ok. The insurance bought my cf hood cause it was cheaper then the factory. I didnt get raped on the deductable so its all good. Anyway I was looking for a pic of this hood on a dsm and no one had one so here it is for anyone looking for one. I dont care if you think my car is rice or not so save yourselfs the bother of typing anything if all your going to do is call it rice.

I think it looks badass! BTW: what kind of fogs/driving lights are those?

Would they possibly fit inside the stock hole for the 97-99 bumpers? I'm looking for a good set of DRIVING lights for my fog light holes.. it gets pretty dark around the bad areas here.. not enough streetlamps :(

i think it looks good, it looks well done and like you put a lot of thought and time in to it. i would suggest lowering it, it would look even more aggressive. but if your roads suck i wouldn't do it cause its not worth it :D

Those are a set of OBX 1450 Driving lights. I had piaa ones on there but I was not happy with them. Im not sure if they would fit in a standerd bumper but I am sure you could rig them up some how. And yeah Michigan roads suck big time. I want to lower it but I dont want to rip my front end off. Im moving into an area with better roads soon so maybe then. What really kills me is the amount of wheel gap I have and those are 18s! I cant imagine that car with 16's anymore. I also keep having stupid bills come up and dont want to buy the cheap springs I did that on my other car and never ever ever again.

Are those vents functional on that hood? If so do you happen to have any pics from the other direction and/or underneath? Looks like it may be cheaper to buy a vented CF hood then to vent your own and paint it.

Yes the vents are functional I will try to get some pics today of them. I didnt notice that much heat rising out but enough to warm your hands over some.
Great - i'll look for the pics. This may be a great alternative to venting my stock hood.

Sorry I didnt get the pics up today I had to actually work. Damn new boss's anyway. I will get some tomorrow while Im at my interview :D Thats a invader type 1 kit and I think the hood would fit a turbo it has more room under it then the factory i think because the the humps where the vents are is hollow underneath.

Okay, i like the same color of hood on a car though??

Hmm - I like the vents. Now I have to find out if they will fit a Turbo model. Have you noticed any temp differences since there is no heat shield on the hood?

I have noticed that my gage seems to hang a little cooler and you can see the heat on a cold night rising out of the vents. I have a stock gage so its hard to tell what its actually reading but it is lower.
