off topic....low 12s on a small 16g does seem far fetched...even more so than a tiny 2 1/4" cat back.

on topic... as far as the injector sizing goes, 660cc inj-255-and FPR will work with a t4. What you have to worry about is where is your expected HP goal. Going by RC engineering formulas for fuel injection, you need 720cc inj. for a 400-450 hp goal. we all know that is not exactly true, but its better to be same than sorry especially for an extreme setup you are talking about.

I dont think you did ttoo much research on the supporting mods to run a full T4. IMHO you will have to rebuild the entire motor and fuel system. Plus the car wont be very user friendly on the streets. BUT it can be done.

But what do I know.
 
That car went 12.04?????? If thats true, it is the fastest Small16G, 2G in the world. And the like the 3rd fastes small 16G car(1G or 2G) Why isnt it on dsmtimes.org??? The bullsh1t flag is def. at half mast. Was this without nitrous?:)
 
It all depend on what size the compressor housing. I have a TO4E .50 I forget the p trim wheel on the hot side and a .60 on the compressor side. With that I choose to go 660cc with an increase in Fuel pressure and I always run 94 oct petrol. You will need to get a cutom mani made or adapt yours. As I have not seen a TO4 with an internal wastegat you will need on of those also. I went with the Turbonetics Delta gate. The price was right. Also 2.5 is manditory three inch would be better. The turbo by my calcs should have an onset of around 2800 rpm give or take a few hundred rpm and full boost at 4000 rpm. Laggy but I plan on cutting time by spraying a 50 shot just to get things moving along at the track. An upgraded IC is a must as is a fuel pump. I was trying to get taboo to make a mani for me but thing didn't work out on my end. I may contact him again in a few months to see if he has so time to work on the mani.

Yes, the car has really done those times. No, I was not the driver. If you believe that the car could not do that with small exhuast and a small turbo look in the dsmpix on the second page for :D Here two 1/4 mile vids!!! The black car is mine, and one shows the car doing a 12.41, which I can assure you it went 12.04. Please do not act like it is impossible or say that you know it is. I swear that the car has really gone that fast. In the spring I plan on putting some more little goodies on it and hopefully run an high 11. Here is my car and here are the vids, right click and save target as, to see the car run hella fast. If you look at the exhaust there is a smaller pipe tack welded so that it is not too load.Here are the vids.

Also there are faster small 16g out there, you just have to look. Not all the people that run those times post.

I understand that a lot of people don't get a good setup and are not able to run good fast times but mike, the guy who owned this car was a really smart racer. He actually ran these times and never posted his time, I don't know why. No nos either. Don't start flaming me, it could be your mad your small 16g isn't working for you like it should?

I didn't said that a 190 and 660's were sufficient. "GSXtreme.org" was the one who said that...;)

OFF TOPIC:
I agree with you that the 16g has potential, and I give you massive props for working with that turbo and getting such good times out of it. A lot of people just slap on a bigger turbo, injectors, and fuel pumps and crank up the boost. You have to have skills to work a motor with a smaller turbo to make it run with the bigger turbos.

ON TOPIC:
I would go with 720's and a 255lph + fpr, just to be on the safe side; I would think you would need an external gate as well; just a quick question, why not go with an internally gated green or l2r? it seems that with the motor work, cams, etc.... you would be able to reach your goal with one of these turbos.

Well, if I ever went with motor work then I would buy a block from Buschur and do it right. At this moment I don't have that sort of money. Eventually though I will. Yes, also I was wondering what sort of adjustable fpr you guys think is the best, for the money. Anyways a t4 might be a little big for my plans at the moment and because I am not ready to buy that block from Buschur, I was thinking that a bigger but not massive turbo would be best for me. I really would hate to have to strip the motor down (unless I blew something to hell) because I am waiting to do that later. Thanks for the replys I think when I get my Cams and Dis2 in the spring then I will worry about the rest. Also for externally gated turbos is the tial probably or is the best on the market right now, Thanks.
 
i don't have any personal experience with an external gate, but i know tial is good and i know hks is good too

yeah you are looking at some decent coin and knowledge to run that thing to its potential, then comes the happy world of breaking drivetrain parts.:)

tial seems to be the consensus

This is for my daily driver. If anything I would buy buschurs car if I wanted a 9 sec car but not for a daily driver. Eventually I will retire it to strictly racing, untill then an 11 sec daily driver will have to do.:D
