Yep, there are alot of threads aobut removeing those other vaccum hoses that you dont need, basically all the emissions hoses and systems. I just finished removeing the last of my egr hoses today, i have both the evap and fpr selenoids unplugged on my firewall so you obviously dont need them. But do a search and read up about it, if you still dont understand or have any questions you can ask me cause i just did this over thanksgiving break. California emisisons cars will throw a CEL if you remove the egr system though.
