For the record people can run Evo forks with plastic and be fine. But yes I would rather have the metal inserts.

I really want to know what Jon thinks about what happen.

But did you kill you stock center diff and then get a quaife to fix it.
No I have listed all of the information in my earlier posts. The tranny was a tre rebuilt in good condition, when the quaife was installed.

kxc36g, this problem has happened to several people. My tranny was assembled by tre. They use all of the torque specs, as well as torque wrenches. Even the stock replacement, still shows no sign of wear. If it was a case of bad installation (improper torques,...), I would expect to see uneven wear on the bearings, and/or score marks, which I don't.

**WARNING DO NOT USE THE 16G**

OMG, you won't believe this yo. My 16G wheel broke and trashed my turbo! That metal is just too thin! $600 down the drain! Installed by a professional shop. This has happened to several of my friends. One day the turbo works great, next day no boost and bad sounds. Only 20K miles too.
**THE 16G WILL BREAK**
It happened to me and several of my friends. Don't waste your money on this mitsubishi outcast.

**Buy the SUPER STRONG 16G wheel today and end your worries** Works for all DSM 16G upgraded turbos and EVOs.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY OR DRIVE A DSM!!! THEY BREAK SOMETIMES!

nothing is forever, each case is seperate from another instance, shit breaks, shit happens, stop stereotyping the quality of a product based on your expierence. maybe you should say "i've had a bad expirence with X product, this is why, and you should give them a 2nd look to make sure you know what you're buying and what to watch out for"

oh yea just playing about the dsm thing, fixing them is have the fun. the other half is breaking them.
