Got behind a riced out Civic EX today on the way home. Had altezzas, huge ass aluminum wing, and the requisite fart cannon. Probably had the other usual crap done to it. Well there is a passing zone less than 1/4 mile from my driveway and I decided to go past him since he was doing about 40 since I had gotten behind him. Im in the process of diagnosing a boost control issue so I just had a line run to the wastegate. 9 psi is all I was making.
As soon as he sees me move into the other lane, he floors it. I find that rather amusing and shift into 4th early just to fire the BOV in his ear. Im obviously going about 20 mph faster than him now and I start to slow for the turn to my driveway. But nimrod is finally up to speed and Im worried he might not be able to match the brakes on the Talon. So I let him get right up behind me at about 60 mph.
Now for the knife in the heart. After coming thru a small little s turn I open it up on the straight. Ran it up to 90mph and he was probably about 20 cars back. Hard to tell once something gets that far back in the rear view.
Final slap in the face is I had enough room to swing into a drive and start to turn around...so he knew I did that just to screw with him. Oh and the best part? His girlfriend was with him.
