ok i know that there was a thread on this a while back but i cant seem to find it even after searching so im going to revisit it in this forum. if you goto mitsu and get a replacement oil filter they may give you a small one. there are 2 different sizes and they have different part numbers but its dark and i dont want to take a flashlight and look under my car right now. they will both work. however after talking to the guy at mitsu the smaller ones were made because people kept putting crap on their engines and clearance issues arised. our cars dont need the smaller filter, so the guy at mitsu recomended the bigger one because there was more filtration. if you get your oil changed at mitsu they will probably put on a big one because they have a surplus of them so you wont even have to ask for it. i just wanted to give this as a little heads up, and on another note the drain plug is a 17mm socket. i found that out after trying a bunch of the same sockets, all 18s of course
