I know there's a page out there that will tell me how and I searched but can't find anything. I'm looking at a 1gA talon it has a dual tipped muffler, didn't see a boost gauge in the dash but did they have one? If someone can give me a link to a page with all the spec's of n/a and turbo talons I'd appreciate it.

Pop the hood and look for this thing called a turbo. 
It'll be between the air filter and the throttle body.

it had a boost gauge in the dash, in the lower-left hand corner..
If its got hubcaps, its probably a Non-Turbo.
Check the VIN, theres a website that helps you decode them.
Its' probably a non turbo GS, they had the dual tipped mufflers.

my 91 tsi has a sunroof but its only an option, and no u wont see the IC bc its a side mount intercooler, most 1st gen turbos have an "aerodynamic kit", with the side skirts and diff bumpers

the "pumpkin" shows weather its a AWD or not, not if its a 90 or 91, cuz both 90 and 91 have that option

Bytw, 1st gen's form came turbo/intercooled, with hubcaps, no gf/x, spoiler or any other junk. Ive got a nice example parked outside. Black steelies, no options, plenty quick i think the only options it has are the rear window wipers and defroster/cruise control.
