well im gonna get the symborski, everyone says it kicks ass

I think an important part of this equation would be (where applicable) is the SS clutch line from RRE. It REALLY made a difference, both in shifting AND clutch feel. It actually lightened the pedal pressure....Worth the 20.00

oh good to know, howabout the shifting forks? do they add any feel or is that just an added safety precaution

Ok, I don't know if you are joking or serious. I thought we were talking about "simple" things to smooth out the shifter. Oh, well, I can be dense/gullible sometimes.

Shifter forks involve taking apart the tranny, or are you refering to something outside the tranny. Shift forks in titanium would be nice, but I will need the time to do mine. Actually they would be perfect for an awesome tranny (esp taller gears) How you want to shift depends on how much you want to spend. The Symborski, Extreme and this http://www.speed-source.net/shifterbuymitsu.htm seems to be the cheapest way of smoothing out the shifter without breaking the bank. It is also good to have solid syncros, they go bad and shifting becomes REAL rough.....

i didnt realize that the forks involved taking the tranny apart, i am a tranny newb.

that pic is a little hard to see where that is, is it mounted verticle?

Loreak, dude, you gotta get an aftermarket UICP....

See the shifter cables?? Right in the middle is a silver plate with a bolt through it. That is it.....not much too look at really. I thought it was a tad expensive, but I felt it worth the investment.
