the second intake you're seeing is his intercooler pipe coming back from the front mount.

Well then the article is misleading because it clearly states its an AEM CAI. Its like that girl said earlier about the bs of the magazine I guess. Maybe he converted it to an intercooler pipe once he went turbo. As you can see, it doenst look like a standard HRC mod. wierd.

From the looks of it, he piped the intake directly to the turbo without an intercooler. Of course in that pic I can't see the front of the car to confirm that but, from this angle it looks alot like he's got no air-to-air intercooler...

:rice: said it once and here it is again, by the way the turbo is a turbonetics"its got their T engraved on the side:rolleyes:

He doesnt have an intercooler installed....yet. The nitrous was first set up normally, now it will be used to cool the intercooler once its installed. the pipe goes straight down past the turbo so its not attached to it. I think the magazine didnt interview him or something and added their own ideas er something...:(

Ok man no offense, but you don't know what you're talking about. That IC pipe you see passes the turbo because its connected to the outlet of the intercooler!! The turbo connects to the INLET of the intercooler, which you can't see because it's underneath the turbo.

OH MY WORD!

Ugh. I'm not good with words i guess. You basically just said what I was trying to type.
BUT, the article clearly states that he does NOT have the intercooler installed (at least not at the time of the interview) and that the nitrous will be now set to spray the intercooler once installed zzzz
And the article said AEM CAI!! Whaaaaaaah!
...Now I know how Michael Jackson feels...

Also, I see alot of people here post replies without bothering to read what was said by other people earlier. Read before you type. this is what Clean GS7 said earlier:

I was replying to the fact that he does not have an intercooler installed. This is fact. My statement :
"The nitrous was first set up normally, now it will be used to cool the intercooler once its installed. the pipe goes straight down past the turbo so its not attached to it."
What in that statement made you think that I meant the pipe was attached to the turbo???

I can clarify this situation:

Keith Lozier has decided to install a Hahn system on his (exceptional!) car, but as of the time these photos were taken, it was still equipped with a custom, one-off setup that was more show than go. Now he will also have the go!

I must commend you observant sorts who could tell right away that what you see there is definitely NOT a Hahn RaceCraft Turbosystem.

Thanks all!

Well blame that on that stupid mag that said it was Hahn, or maybe him for letting them say it; I was only repeating what was typed; hell I knew that kit looked strange when I first saw it, thats why I posted this thread in the first place!

the kit in the pics is the NER. keith was one of the few people who got their kits from shaun, the owner of NER. its not complete and i think he didnt put his hood on because it wouldnt close with the UICP on. someone else i know (gorkoracing on 2gnt) had pieces of the NER kit also and his hood wouldnt close with that IC pipe on there. there was a big thing about shaun not sending keith a wastegate with his kit and keith ended up getting his own. i dont think he ever ran the car with that particular kit on
