Saturday night I had a few interesting races. The first race was with an s2000 w/ aem cai, We went from 30-100 and he was probably 3 or so cars back (kinda hard to tell) I know the guy and he drives the car hard. The second race was with a 240sx, 3" turboback exhaust, greddy bov, and i dont know what other mods he had, he was telling me his car was "stock" (bullshit) I'm pretty sure 240's didn't come turbo'd. anyway that was a pretty bad race, we went from a 20 mph roll to 70 or 80. He was also 3 or 4 cars back. I'm very happy w/ my car even though the only loss ive had was to a gsr integra w/ $10,000 into the motor, turbo at 8 psi., the works. lost by about 1 and a half cars from 20-110 mph. My car is prety lightly modded as far as i'm concerned.

are you still on the stock fuel system? If so, that shit's probably slowing you down big time. You could probably be running more boost, safely. Anyways, nice kills. The S2000's aren't all that quick, even for us FWD's :) . There was one around here with a CAI and exhaust running mid 14's i think. The 240sx (at least the US version) doesn't come with a turbo. It's just a 2.4L, NA KA24DE motor where as the jap spec ones came with a SR20DET motor (2 liter turbo silvia motor). They can be crazy fast on the highway, but i've heard that they can have a hard time hooking up off the line. Good job:rockon:

It makes me feel better about my car actually. I love to see the look on their faces when i tell them its only got a 260 dollar t28 and a 3" downpipe. priceless. ha, If i put 10,000 into my car well I'll just leave it at that

$260 for a T28?? Somebody sold you one for that cheap?

Well if it was a S13 or 180SX motor it should only be 205hp then the S15 was the one with the 240+hp as stock. The Silvias have always ran high 14s in stock trim whenever Options mag tests them.

there are ways to make honda's fast while staying cheap but then they wont look good:D

take an '85CRX and drop in a JDM b20 with 160 hp for $1,000 cdn and there you have a high 13's low 14's car with a non modified engine ;)

the thing for doing up honda's is that people buy the car planning to do only a few mods but then they fall in love with the drive of the car and the reliability/gas etc and they decide to put money into it... when im done playing with me DSM im going back to the honda community with either an older NSX (im talking in like 5 years) or a 4th gen SR-V prelude... there is just somethin about them honda's. however did sell mine for the talon :p I like both the same

yea, i got my t28 almost new. no shaft play it seriously is like new. the guy had it on his spyder and he was trying to make his car stock again to sell it and god knows why, but he sold it that cheap (lucky me).
well, that's good for you. His trash, your treasure:)

I'm thinking about the FP BigT28 as an upgrade for my T25. Seems like a nice turbo with much more top end, and can hold full boost to redline. I just need that 3" turbo-back first:D
