okay, i just bought a 1991 eclipse gst, and it was runnin good for the first couple of weeks. Then, i went on vacation for two weeks and when i started the car i had absolutely zero boost and wen i drive it i have zero boost, the turbo is stock and was just replaced, is that the problem?? Now my car drives slower than a golfcart, if u have any ideas please, please help.

Check the end of the wastegate actuator were it should connect with the wastegate arm on the exhaust side of the turbo. The cotter pins come off causing the WGA to fall off. When that happens the wastegate will stay open and you won't make any boost.

i know thats not it cuz i replaced the wastegate actuator three times. Thats what we thought the problem was at first. Could a hose have blown off? Should i try to override my boost solenoid?
Did you pull the intake hose off and see if the turbo wheel spins freely like Dsmman suggested?

no, not yet. i dont have it in a garage right now. was planning on doing it this weekend. If that would be the problem, could i just replace the turbine, turbine housing. and the bearing? I'm pullin it in a garage for the weekend and wanted to get some ideas of wat the problem might be.

OK, the hoses for boost control won't cause no boost. If they come off you typically have problem with too much boost.

Check the turbo as has been suggested. If it's bad you usually replace the whole thing.

UPDATE: Ok i finally got into the turbine housing and checked for play right. well, the retards who rebuilt the turbo must have forgotten a bearing or something, cuz there was no play, no spin, absolutely no movement with the turbine at all. Stupid asses. PROBLEM SOLVED: small 16g turbo on the way.
