OK I have a 91 2.0 NT, I am in the process of rebuilding a motor. I have 12:1 (.20 over) comp JE pistons on the way. Now as far as cams go (Crower, HKS, Webcam) are all of these grinds designed for a turbo 4G63? If they are, does anybody have any suggestions as to which cams do go with? I am not sure of my stock specs but I believe the exhaust is the same as the turbo, and the turbo intake cam is a little more aggressive? I was thinking going with the HKS 272 exhaust and the 26? intake. However assuming these are designed for a turbo car will there be any negative effects? To give you a better idea of what is going to be done with my car:
Stage 1
2.5 in exhaust
2.5 in 4-1 Racing Header
Unorthodox Pulley Set
12:1 JE Pistons bore .20
Aggressive Cams and springs/retainers
550cc Injectors
Fuel Pump
Port/Polished Head
Balance Shaft Removed

I am trying to get to this point ASAP

Stage 2
Quad Throttle Bodies
Haltech or other Standalone ECU
Hours of Dynotuning
ACT Clutch
Lightened Flywheel
Rebuilt Tranny

Stage 3 ?????

cams

i used the hks 264/264's in my nt 2.0 first than changed them to my turbo, made one heck of a difference on the nt, up past 5000,cams will fit either turbo or nt 2.0 dohc engines, no matter what brands, but if you are wanting straight race setup(which sounds like the way you are going) i'd opt for webcams ,the wildest ones they got, as far as i know they are the only company that makes "wild" cams for our cars and wilder cam will definatly help on a na engine , hope this helps

It would be best to get a set that are ground specifically for your set up. You should be able to get them done at the same price you'd pay for the turbo cams. I have persoanlly talked with Crower and HKS about this and that's the word from them. :)

WebCams have proven they can't hold a centerline when it comes to making cams for your 4G63 engine. If you go with them, make sure you got adjustable cam gears and can degree them in.

HKS cams are it, dyno proven.
Go HKS 264's on both banks or 272's on both banks.

I don't see you make mention of a hp goal or a turbo you want so, I'd say go with 264's for great all around performance increase and the 272's for more top end.

This seems to hold true from Crowers as well.... it's been this way in 4 seperate cases that I am personal aware of.
