Cen-Tex 3S/DSM meet - Feb. 21

Hey guys,

Just wanted to invite all you Central Texas DSM's out to a meet that the 3S guys of CenTex is going to be having on February 21 at 5:00 at the Rudy's in Round Rock. We are then going to head to Temple Academy Dragway for some real fun. You can find all of the information here: 3S/DSM gathering The Austin DSM club has always been helpful to me so I wanted to extend this invite to you guys. Hope to see you there.

I was thinking the same thing.Most tracks I know of do Test-Tune on Wed or Fri nights...LRA they run 10"er's on Sat..RCR they have their Test-Tune on Wed,Fri nights.Some Fri nights they have a Street Shoot-out.Maybe you guys can make 1 night.

Is the track called Little River (LRA) or Temple Academy (TAD)? I have heard both.

It's Temple Academy Dragway...I think the locals started calling it Liver River,because there's a river right by it.

Round Rock is about 10 miles north of Austin. From Dento just take I35 south and you'll drive right through it but it is about a 3 hour drive (if you go the speed limit

***UPDATE***

I checked the weather from a couple of different sources this morning and all of them said that the rain is supposed to lastuntil saturday morning except for one that said it was supposed to end late friday afternoon. Even if it does stop fridat afternon the track will still probably be closed. So I think we need to go ahead and postpone the event until March 7 . We'll have the same plans but just move them to a different date. If you know of someone that was plainning on going let them know or tell them to check the board. See you guys March 7.

Just wanted everyone to know that the March 7 even has been canceled due to pending rain and the fact that it is the begining of Spring break. We are going to try and scedule another this spring.

meet on the 7th

hey we shouldnt cancel the meet until fri morning i saw today that it was supposed to be 75 and partly cloudy academy will be open unless it pours all day anyways im just tired of waiting ive got 3-6 people that are for sure going.
mother nature must drive a mustang hahaha (bitch)
so if it is nice who would be willing to go up to academy still?
