so then everyone w/o a cat has their CE light on?

Thats Cheesey!!

any way to get arround it?

some people get the CEL, some don't....i have gotten it 5 times in the 2 years that i've ran a test pipe. i check/clear it with my datalogger....no big deal.

You can buy an O2 simulator from Summit or Jegs (or lots of other places I am sure) that takes the place of the rear O2 sensor. They are made for domestics I think, but should work fine. May have to splice some wires.

I've been driving w/out a cat for over a year now, and never once had my CEL on. (for the o2.. or cat being off, that is). Some get it, some do not. Maybe becuase half of the little DSM stickers on my car have 94-95 production dates on them. Early 2G's are the shit. :D

If you run a test pipe you won't lose any performance. The REAR O2's main job is to tell the ecu if the cat is working or not. So, your CEL might come on(because your cat isn't working), but you won't lose any power.
