i just replaced my rear pads, after driving around for a bit i tried locking them up to test it out. but they just don't lock up anymore!!... did i screw something up when i installed the new pads? or is it just cause they're brand new pads?

no i did'nt bleed the system i didn't open the line so i figured i didn't need too. what's beding the pads? is that just setting them in by doing light braking before any moderate to heavy braking?

Yup, several 40-0 stops by gradually applying pressure on the pedal should bed them.
