Fellow DSMTalkers,
my TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) is basically dead,
when I put the pretty gauges on my S-AFC the Throttle shows always 0%. When I'm on the highway at high gear, I floor it for a second without letting the car reach high speed, I just floor it and let go right away to try to unlock the TPS, and sometimes it works and the TPs comes back to life for a few minutes only.

Am I right when I state that the TPS is the Key of Tuning?
I mean, if the TPS is not working, the AFC is useless, right?

So, what's the deal here?

I've searched and I found several links on how to regulate it,
but I'd rather know if there's any way to fix it or better if you guys know a fairly priced place that remanufactures TPS for 1G DSMs.

As a payback for anybody that's going to help me,
here's a nice company that remanufactures and sells ISC motors for very cheap!
Never bought from them, but they seem trustworthy.

I'd really appreciate if somebody knows a place online that sells remanufactured TPSs, just like the one that I showed you for ISCs.

Thank you all in advance!

Just hit the junkyard, bro. I think they are all the same betwixt T and NT cars.
You know what's the problem OWGTI?
I am afraid that if I just yank one out of a junked 1G it'll be the same in a couple of months... also, what is the chance that the TPS is "unbalanced" when I take it from the junkyard?
Would I have to calibrate it or something?

Thank you for the info.

Martin,
thank you for your input, that's what I thought,
I already emailed Gary from MitsuGraveYard,
waiting for his reply, and I am also talking to
one of the Members from this board that took the time to PM me and happens to have a few TPS laying around (thank you Charity!).

Let's see what happens.

BTW Martin, when you get a chance get back to me in regards to the last PM I sent you... ;)

Thank you and take care man.

Grawnhill,
thank you for the info.

I am currently working on some used ones,
if they will come out to be extremely cheap
I'll give them a shot, otherwise AutoZone is my next step.

Thank you.
