Nice Review.

My only question is why would someone with a 1995 DSM get a SAFC? Most '95s have an EPROM ECU. That means you can put a DSMLink in for only $200-$250 more than the SAFC. Pick up some 200mhz laptop for free, and you have knock logging, timing adjustments, boost logging, etc. etc.

Look into it. www.dsmlink.com

I used to have a SAFC on my '96 AWD, with a OBD2 logger, TMO Stage III chip, and it worked well, very well. But the DSMLink replaced all three of those things, and made them look like crap. A big steaming heap. ;)

(Just a happy DSMLink user)

I know the thread is kinda old, but....I just installed one in a friends 98 awd, when the air flow wired are connected, the car doesnt idle very well and it wont rev because of a rich condition, as soon as i reconnect the stock airflow wire to the ecu, it runs fine. can someone with a 2g car and an afc2 post their initial settings for me and comment on what else the prob could be?
