ok i think my balance shaft belt may have broken, i posted in another thread about it, well if it didnt then this wont matter, but im going to check to make sure. if it did can i just pull the broken belt out and run without a belt, will this cause any harm, because the balance shafts are not taken out and the belt wont be on, is that ok to do? if i buy the balance shaft eliminator kit, the front one gets pulled out without removing the engine and thats no prob, but the rear you have to lower the engine about 6 inches? anyone know exactly how far it is, because i have access to a lift and i could throw it on and unbolt the motor mounts and lower the engine a bit, i just dont wanna have to take off all kinds of shit to lower it enough to take the rear one out.
