ok, my friend is modding his 92 nt talon and he was thinking about getting lightened alternator and water pump pulleys before he gets a full intake system. I think he should get the full pipe and not just run a kn. Please tell me what you think so he can start the modding.

I have the pacesetter header on my car and I love it. I have not had any trouble with it yet (knock on wood). The welds may need to be cleaned up a bit but you can't beat the price.

Actually I upgraded the entire exhaust at once. I went from stock to a header with high flow cat and 2.25" cat-back. I felt a major difference after the whole exhaust was done. As far as the header making a difference, I can only speculate since everything was done at once. I can say I love the sound of my exhaust setup, but can't say how much of it is due to the header.

I would say it does make a difference since the downpipe is also replaced with a higher flowing one.

That's commond with most Pacesetter headers. You shouldn't have a problem if you stay on top of the paint to prevent rust. All headers will need a mild clean up, that's called attention to detail. Unless John over at Hytech is making you header. If that was the case, expect perfect welds...

I actually have the ARMOR coating on my header, not that stupid black paint that burns off. In my opinion it is deffinitly worth the extra $ to get the ARMOR coated header. The coating doesn't burn off and it still looks awesome after 3 months of use. You can see pictures of my installed and uninstalled header here.

I did not officially measure the downpipe but it is no less than 2.25". It doesn't look quite like 2.5". I did port the runners slightly with my dremel tool. I did it before I ever installed the header so I cannot compare before and after.

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, I'm glad I can be of some assistance.

I did only the header. I noticed less power from 2-3k but anything beyond that in first gear and I could burn em' up from just stomping it. It had more pickup at 6k too. You need to do some porting to get performance and some drilling to make it fit.
