I was hopeing you guys could help me out on this. Recently on my 2G GSX i could feel the boost leaking under acceleration. But it wouldnt do it all the time, and is much more common at higher gears. When i spool the turbo up i can hear it spool but i dont feel all the boost, and when at its worse the car deccelerates. I havnt checked the turbine for shaft play yet, but i was wondering if it is possible that it is a leaky bov. I have an HKS exhaust system and i konw that 2g bov's cant handle extra boost so is that where it is leaking? I need to figure this out. Thanks!

the 2g BOV's leak already stock, its plastic.

this is most likely your problem.

you should get upper and lower IC pipes and a new BOV anyways, 1g BOV (new) works fiine for up to i believe 25 psi before modifications for it are needed. thats what i did, and it works fine, no leaks. but that plastic cheap crap has been leaking since the day the first owner drove it off the lot, one all our cars, 2g's that is.

Actually I think it's good up around 17 or 18 psi before you need to "crush" it.
