450cc injector: what is the max HP?

Hi,

Can anyone estimate the max HP possible on stock 450cc injectors? I personally think it is around 260 hp, maybe?

I think s15 250hp stock engine uses 480cc injector.... 450cc shouldn't be that bad.

Dunno, depends if you keep your stock pump/reg/rail etc.

You going to max out the stock fuel system? Watch out for fuel cut!

it's around 280 on pump gas and about 330 on race gas. You can squeeze more out of them if you get creative, like using water injection, higher fuel pressure.

If you do the math, @ 43 psi they are good for ~260 flywheel hp, so your guess is very accurate. With ample fuel supply and higher pressure they are capable of more, a max of about 320, I wouldn't suggest running above 65psi of base fuel pressure- 1 most fuel pumps are rated @ 43psi and raising the pressure too high actually lowers the output flow wise.
