IMHO, I agree. What can be done with those?

Have a picture of the front of your car?
Look up pics of DSMMan. If it is done the way he explained it then DSMMan has a car with the same thing done.

I will post pics soon...my car is still in the shop.

I had a bumper custom made (looks like a 2g blitz), welded light buckets to hood, shaved squirters, moulded drift sideskirts, custom rear bumper.

The front of my car looks very much like taboo's photoshop pic if the hood and lights were solid and my car is blue.

I just realized that I don't have any pics of the process, so I will go there and take some this week.

EagleTSi has the right idea, I had the pop-ups... fortunately mine doesn't have them! Can't wait to see some more pics (saw Jon's in his sig)! Looking good man... good luck y'all

These are something I saw on a Miata this past weekend at Carlisle. Not the cleanest way to do it, but works none the less.

Sorry, this is the only other pic I have of that car. I assume the owner left the hood up all day until he left.

Someone can photoshop a hood onto it if they feel like though. :)

ironically enough I saw twin white 1g-A dsm's with non-pop ups this last weekend.

They looked very nice. They actually had the same idea as I met them at a car meet. They are going to mass produce theirs and sell them not just for dsm's, but a lot of other cars like z06's, miata's, rx7's even though there already are some etc..

They looked VERY nice.
They custom fabricated it so they had 2 smaller circular lights on the outer side and a larger circular light on the inside.

IMO their design was better than the current RX7 ones I see and MR2 designs I see.

I'm almost ready to start production! I'm waiting for a few more supplies to come :D its been almost 9 months since this project started and now everythign is coming together perfectly!

I used to have a list of all the people who were SERIOUSLY interested in the kit and that list is now lost. so if you are seriously interested in purchasing the kit just email me because I am not aloud to "advertise" on dsmtalk. the first kit will be auctioned off on ebay. DONT send naggin emails asking when it will be finished! all i want to know is who is SERIOUSLY interested in purchasing the kit, and who would like to know when the auction is.

Email me at moltenautoworks@juno.com

There was a guy as 3Si.org doing the same project for us 1G 3S's (3000GT/Stealths) but for one reason or another he never ended up going anywhere with it. :(

So on that note... when are you going to start working on a set for us 3S guys??? :D

Good to see this project is coming along as well as it is, I remember reading about this when you first posted and I'm impressed with how far you have taken it. It shows you’re a dedicated and hard working individual; keep it up and good luck!

If I see alot of interest in kits for the 3k gt i could desing a set for those too. I am compiling a list of cars to make sleak headlights for and also for other products. I am mainly interested in making thigns that nobody else makes and the most inovative and custom looking accessories. Its a little hard to find time at the moment because I'm only 17 and still in highschool but i'm doing the best i can. But I would realy like to see this business grow so any ideas and suggestions are welcome! Even ideas concerning non-dsm cars.

are there ANY known sleak headlight kits for the 3kgt's? or any pics of custom kits? but dont worry 1g dsm'ers! my current headlight project is all I'm working on right now so that it will get finished as soon as possible. I should be receiving the last of my supplies in the mail sometime this week. :D

p.s. tell all your 1g pop-up headlight friends I'm almost finished!

I think this is a good idea, however, I think if you make the change I would eliminate the light just above the bumber but below the headlights... or cover it somehow.

didn't some of the 3000gts come with fixed headlights?
the 96-98's I believe it was. Somewhere around there.
