Hey everyone, I have seen these (sidemarker lights) on a few Eclipses, and I'm wondering how they did it? Here are some examples:

In this picture it is on the upper front fender.

In this example is down near the side skirt right past the front wheel.

I'm pretty sure you can go to any import shop and buy a kit for those. I think it's as simple as drilling a hole and mounting them, but I could be wrong.

rice, definately. Stock sidemarker location is fine any additional is asking for it.

I don't think they are that big of rice. On most cars, they actually look good.

i think they are actually pretty nice, seeing as that way when changin lanes on the highway dumbasses can see them flashing. helps for the idiots who don't look to well but not really for the idiots who don't look at all. i would do it if i didn't have to drill (or i had a spare set of fenders)

i saw some sidemarkers in autozone today that were paste-on made to look real for $9.99. that's probably all it is! :)
speaking of sidemarkers, i hit a dog :( and lost my sidemarkers- oem's are $32! rediculous!
By the clear ones, they look better and I got mine for like 8 bucks off Ebay.

It's not too hard of a job. Put some masking tape on your fender and draw the hole shape. Make it a little smaller than you actually need. Then with a drill, make a bunch of holes around the perimeter of the circle. Then go back with a dremel cutting wheel and knock it out. Keep enlarging the hole little by little until the light snaps in nice and tight. Remember, if you take too much out, you're screwed. Wire them up to the front turn signal lights. There are three wires coming out of the turn signal harness. You have to try different combinations to tap off of to get the sidemarkers to work exactly right (parking lights, blinkers, headlights)
