The other night I was out taking a cruise in my car and saw a pack of street bike's up ahead so I said to myself what the hell let me go have some fun with these guy's. So I am next to a blue and white Yamaha that has no badge's on it at all, I am hoping it is an R6 because I was thinking this is going to be a real quick race if it is a R1!! So we are cruising at like 60 - 65 next to each other I drop to 3rd gear he drop's gear's and we both nail it. I have him by at least a car through 3rd I shift to fourth he comes up to my back tire I get back into it in fourth and pull a little more but than he start's to slowly come up. I look at rpm's and I am about done with 4th gear it was about 7,000 so I shut it down and he does the same. He would have passed me eventually but that is usually the outcome anyway, I was just happy to hold him off that long. So we pull off to the side of the road into the WAWA and he is like dam man I can't believe that car, so where is the NOS (LOL) I said no nitrous just bigger turbo and a couple of other thing's. I said what is that an R6? He said no (Very disappointed) It's an R1!!! I said you just made my night!! He said I had 2 more gear's left and was going to pass you though. I said hey man I am only on 19psi and pump gas and I held you off through 3rd and 4th it is a waste for me to race in 5th, and if I had Race gas and 28psi in the car tonight you would have needed those 2 gear's to even pull up on me then. Anyway I was dam happy with the result of the race with my car on pump gas that modded R1 should have pulled by me with ease as soon as I shifted to 4th. Gotta love these little 2 liter's
