A friend of mine has a 92 300gt vr-4 and swapped out his stocker for a turbo xs, will his stock bov bolt on to my 99 gs-t...if so, will it need an adapter? Can i still dump it back into the system? And what kind of boost can i expect it to hold? any input would be appreciated, thanks in advance (current mods open element filter and dump tube mod)

Yes it will fit, no you don't need an adaptor, yes it must be recirculated back into the intake, and it will hold slightly more boost (15-17 I vaguely recall).
