as the topic says, when i arm the alarm it does not lock the doors like it used to. It will still unlock the doors when i disarm it... anyone have any ideas?

If this is an aftermarket alarm, you probably had the lock wire come loose where it connects to the factory wiring. A lot of installers use crimp connectors, and (guess what!) they come loose.
Take a look at the "DSM wiring information" thread to see where your lock/unlock relay wires are, and look for the connections for your alarm.
If this is the factory alarm, I'm clueless.
