As some may know on here, I am looking at a 1g GSX this week. I plan to have a compression test done, but what kind of numbers should I look at on this atx with a .20 overbore?

Might move this to the advanced section...

EDIT - this is a .020 overbore, not a .2. Wow, I'm retarded.

The compression ratio is the same regardless of bore size.

Standard compression for a 1G is 164 PSI. Consider anything above 150 a blessing. Difference between cylinders should be 14 psi or less, and the service limit is 121.

Hmmm, ok I thought for sure I was gonna get lower compression overall.

Nope. Different size pistons have a slightly different dome/dish volume to end up with the same compression ratio.

Thanks for taking it upon yourself to cross-post to the advanced section anyway.
